Big Bro,
You'll have to forgive me if this letter goes all over the place, but it's one I never thought I'd have to write.
We've known each other for three years, man. Can you believe that? That's a long time to make a list of memories. Memories I unfortunately won't remember once I'm back home. I guess I get the reason why we aren't allowed to keep our memories, but that doesn't mean it sucks any less.
From my first day on Atia to visiting you, Summer, and Grace, I think most of our meetings were positive ones. Thanks for being there for me when Atia sent my sister, close friends from home, and Katniss back to their proper places. Though Katniss did come back, but without her memories, so once again, thanks for being there for me.
I honestly think you and Summer are going to be there for each other for a long time. The two of you have such a bond that if Atia messes with it, I think the balance of the island would shift, and doom would come down on that witch's head. Sure she might try to pull some tricks again, like taking one of you away, but I think that bond keeps you linked and you won't be apart for long.
For all the help and support you gave to productions at the Opera House, my employees and I thank you. All those sets built and moved by your generous hands, all the spots in the paper for ads for shows, and many more things, thank you. I know you gave up personal time to do a lot of those things, but that's just the kind of guy you are. A guy that's willing to sacrifice for his friends.
Speaking of sacrifices, I've told you this a billion times, but thanks again for what you did as a Marine. If it hadn't been for you and your fellow soldiers, we'd probably be a very different nation. I salute you, sir.
Okay, let's get to something a bit more lighthearted. Thanks for letting me be part of a momentous occasion in your life. I am of course talking about your marriage to your wonderful wife, Summer. How many people can say they've stood in and sang for two of their dearest friends? Probably not that many. The dancing, the food, the decorations, all the smiling faces, and the happy couple; everything was perfect. Almost as perfect as the new life you brought into the world. I wrote to Summer, but I'm telling you too, make sure Grace knows her Uncle Ryan loves her. I hope there is a chance I will get to come back and see her again.
I know there are so many things I haven't put in this letter, but I think you'll do a pretty good job remembering all the things we did.
You will always and forever be my big brother.
From the best little brother in the world, stay safe and continue to be true to yourself.
All the best,
Ryan
